About Me

rightside.jpg

Time is just flying by and the little bit of work done looks like we haven’t done all that much as to what is ahead .

im001024.jpg

As you can see the left side was just as bad as the right but we got it done to the point where 75% of the sheet metal work in done on the floors and the under side . After this we will concentrate on other parts of the main body.

A surprise was found on the bead where the left fender attaches to the wheel well, probing with chipping hammer reviled the section was totally patched with bondo and window screen. Nice job I’d say but it’s got to go. This took some time to get done as to cut an arch hammer form the contour. Also we had to make/replace the tabs that the fender bolts go into. Just another phase of what rust that never sleeps  can do .
