Getting down to the wire harness for the car, going to just make it from scratch since it isn’t a big deal. The dash looks good and front end came out nice also , now that the head lights are in it’s all taking shape . The electric cooling fan has to be mounted along with making a stainless steel shroud, since it’s a tight fit I went with a 4 piece shroud so that I can remove the fan, shroud, water pump and such with ease.

The headlights look great and now we are ready to bolt the nose on, while I’m doing that I’ll get Becky to paint the floors one last time front to rear since there was a good coat of Por-15 applied and one coat of gloss black it isn’t going to hurt to get everything looking clean . Next is to install the side pipes and get some moving blankets on the seat frame and springs. Soon we will be ready to rock!

All the glass in and the sound system is next, we‘re putting a 1000watt Kentwood amp with two 12" Alpine’s in the trunk two 8" oval’s on the package tray and two 5" round’s in the kick panels. With a 10 CD exchanger that’s backed up by a wild Sony AM/FM/CD player Beck and her boy friend (Dan) got me for Christmas in 2004. A super sound system , just like the kid’s, SUPER !.

The side pipes are 5'Long x 4" OD 16ga, triple chrome tractor/truck pipes, I will make up SS baffles and mounts along with some reducers. Once this is all done we have to get some registration and then we are on the road . It looks like we are going to beat the due date of the build by 2 days , that is close but we had a crummy winter that took weeks away. In the long run I feel for the amount of work that was done and all the things we made, we did good for what we had to work with . The only thing to do now is drive it all we can while the season is here .

And they who made the bet said "he will never get it done  in time " hahahaha !
