About Me

We beat the dead line by two day’s , not much time to spare but WE did it !

Here is our first picture in Somerville for cruise night and the clouds are coming in, "I wouldn’t of expected anything else " hey it’s only water. The outcome of this day... it rained hard the cruise was canceled due to the weather, besides that the drive in the rain was good for checking for leaks in the windows "that we found in the windshield"and to see how the car handed on the wet road. I’d give it a 5 star rating, it handles like a cat on rug but we are going to need to install sway bars later , if you go into a sharp bend or turn slow the body roll isn’t bad at all. As far as traction it hooked up great and even on the wet road didn’t get squirreley. The brakes are super the steering is just fabulous and it rides like a dream .

Our next trip to Somerville was excellent we were astonished by the number of people that told us that they drove by every day to work and watched us build the car. Some were amazed how soon we did get it done and others just asked ton’s of questions as to who built it what did it cost, etc. my answer was " it’s got to be a love of labor and being that my Daughter was my partner in this project I can’t put a price on it ." It was an experience for Becky and enjoyment for me (most of the time) working on it . I look at it this way, you’ll never have the nicest street rod nor ever have the worst. You will never have the fastest street rod and you sure won’t have the slowest, you’ll never have the most expensive nor will you have the cheapest. It all boil’s down to is, what , how and why you built your street rod that matters regardless of what others may say.
