About Me

beck.at.3yrs.jpg

Here’s Becky at 3 years old, another pic I dug up in the old photo box . This was a go-cart so to speak I had made up , it had a 11 hp Briggs with a 5 speed Dayton Hydro-matic trans from an old Pennsylvania Meteor garden tractor some one was going to scrap. it also had a shortened early Plymouth differential with mechanical brakes . We had loads of fun with this toy until I mounted a 440 Rupp motor on it, then it was a BLAST! "I wonder what the parts from the tractor are worth now?"

After searching my old online photos I now realize the reason that Becky was game on doing a project car with me. Below are some photos of the projects I have done and I guess if your around this stuff long enough it grows on you and with you. she was my wrench hander when I was working on something

Here she is thinking that the buggy frame was something to climb on for a while,he went to just about all the off road races we attended as a competitors for about 8 years in PA &.NY.

This is the BaJa bug I built and she picked out the colors on this and the buggy below that I was building since my old one had about 5 years on it.

I built this ride for Becky when she was about 13 and it was one of a kind home made, except for the front trailing arms (Honda, and the steering wheel/control) she raced up state NY and on the second race she took first place, I was totally shocked how she handled it on the track, I guess all the practice in the back yard paid off . O" that's not her in the pic it's a friend taking it for a spin at track to make sure everything is safe, I wouldn't want my kid to get hurt.......

I sold the cars in the pictures below before Becky was born, I wanted to spend time with her and be around to watch her grow up, I sold the 01 late model to build the 37 4ord and then after all of that got rid of them. Now that I think it over .......since Becky was 5 or so she was with us at all the race events that Deb "my wife" and I drove in . No wonder she goes crazy when she gets a sent of Cam2........

The General Lee look alike was a late model race car I built and drove at Flemingotn NJ. In fact this car above (the 01) and the project 1939 Coupe were both once owned by the same guy .
